Since Mango Rosa's Grand Rancho Bar and Grill opened its 'doors' in 2006 it has set a standard of excellence in fine cuisine, cocktails, and custom hospitality not just in the San Juan del Sur area, but from Coast to Coast. The bar features an impressive sound system playing global tunes and a 40" flat screen TV for sporting events and movies. The dining area includes wrap around hand crafted sofas and tables for casual group gatherings and dining tables for more formal fare.

Our lagoon inspired swimming pool is located right in the center of the Mango grounds. The pool is a few short steps from the Grand Rancho Bar and Grill great for ordering drinks or food poolside. The sloping beach entry, wrap around seating ledge, and shallow water tanning pad, make it the coolest spot to be on the hottest days. Great place to spend a day relaxing or just a refreshing dip between adventures.

No reservations required! Our locally crafted and colorful hammocks are available to all Mango guests and guaranteed to provide pleasure, comfort, and relaxation. Bring a book, friend, or play list with you when you come! Surrounded by a lush flowering landscape, easterly breeze and melodic hum of Chocoyo birds as a backdrop, you can be sure you'll be checking off "kick back and relax" from your to-do list.

There is nothing more frustrating than being in a foreign country on vacation and not knowing what to do next. Well we have solved that with our full time activities director. Our activities director lives on property and is available to help you make the most of your vacation, anything from setting up surfing and fishing trips to scheduling a massage or just pointing you in the right direction for some Frisbee Golf.

While at Mango, you can enjoy internet access throughout the entire seven acre grounds. So, be it within the comfort of your accommodations, swinging in the hammock rancho, poolside, or while enjoying a tropical smoothie at the bar, the world is just a click away. Great way to plan your next adventure or let your friends know what a great time you are having at the Mango.

With thousands of tropical fruit trees, exotic plants, hard woods, flowers, and an array of palms planted since our inception, Mango Rosa has become a botanical garden/ nature reserve in and of itself. With the scents, sounds, and feeling of our oasis, it's easy to find yourself lost amidst the 'Magic of Mango.'

Grass Volleyball Court

The Mango Rosa Summer Volleyball Tournament is perhaps Southern Nicaragua's most popular annual event. Each year, for just one day, San Juan del Sur and the surrounding area descends upon Mango Rosa for a this annual festivity. But for the 364 days that follow, our smooth Bermuda-grass volleyball court, located just above the pool and Grand Rancho is at the disposal of our guests. So, take off your flip-flops, slap on a little sunscreen and enjoy this little gem of ours.

Everything tastes better off the grill! The BBQ Rancho fires up for special events (weddings, chef vs. chef cook-offs, birthdays) or just to cook up your catch of the day. If you want it grilled we will grill it! Anything from our fine cuts of beef, burgers, poultry, fresh fish, shrimp and lobster, or for the adventurous a local favorite, pelibuey. If meat is not your thing we are experts at grilling veggies.

We offer scheduled excursions to surrounding beaches, and San Juan del Sur via the "Mango Wagon." We can also happily arrange airport pick-up, border transfers, and transportation to any other destinations in one of our air conditioned trucks. Just let us know where you want to go and we will take care of the rest! If you need suggestions on places to visit our activities director will be happy to help. All excursions/airport pickups are priced separately, for a quote please specify your interests on the information request form.

The Mango Rosa management provides a full time security service to ensure that your stay with us is perfect. All grounds are well lit and patrolled regularly by our friendly security staff. We have security not because it is unsafe here, but to make sure our guests are comfortable at all times.
